Why is such an idiot Serena Williams?
In today's newspaper had an article about Serena Williams and their attempts to claim women's tennis is higher than that of men. Does anyone else think this is completely retarded? Their logic is that there are more "drama" of women in the game. I do not know about anyone else, but Federer-Nadal rivalry has been one of the most fascinating dramas of the history of any sport. Women's tennis sucks ... is Essentially men's tennis, but the balls are moving slower racquet to racquet with less spin ... I'm not being sexist, but men's tennis is better. What "Drama" that has been in women's football? There is no equivalent to Nadal or Federer in women's football ... and other than Serena, and a few other more up- are rubbish. There was a time when women's game was fun to watch ... but at this point, the men of the game is much better. What do you think?
Serena's not an idiot. In fact, she and Venus are more well-rounded people who have seen and experienced things other than tennis (unlike many other players). When Serena says these comments after his theater, probably is considering the incident with Justine and the recent incident where the ball hit someone's arm and pretended hit his racket (and other incidents). However, there is no drama in the men's side too, so I kind of agreement with her about it. I mean look at Djokovic and how it has withdrawn from the major parties at least a couple of times. I agree that often coincides with that of women is a bit boring on the quality of the game. I've been in some tennis quarterfinals at Key Biscayne and women almost always boring matches while the men were always the best matches. However, when two great players are playing, they can be really good. Remember that classic Wimbledon final with Davenport vs. Venus? If someone else has to fight as much as Serena, game is great. It might be better if Henin were still there or if other Safina or intensified in Grand Slam finals. I must admit however, that when Roger was winning everything was a bit boring. men's tennis is better now that there is much rivalry.
