Berdych Stole Thunder, Beat World's Top Tennis Player At Sony Ericson Open
After the exit of top seed and defending champion American tennis star Andy Murray at the Sony Ericson Open in the first round, another top male player in professional tennis got booted out in the tournament. Tennis superstar Roger Federer was defeated by 16 seeded Tomas Berdych 6-4, 6-7, 7-6 to advance to the quarterfinals in the ATP sanctioned tournament. On the women's side, American tennis superstar Venus Williams and three-time champion Venus Williams reached the semifinals by defeating No. 6-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska 6-3, 6-1.
