Tennis court surfaces: The use of silica sand right
Tennis court resurfacing is a niche market. Many of the systems and materials are not fully understood by the majority. surface acrylic coatings are the industry standard when it comes to hard courts. Acrylics are very durable for use in all climates. The products are manufactured with high quality raw materials in general, have a duration of 5-8 years between resurfacing cycles. Coating systems are made of inferior materials and fillers can wear out, fade away soon, and lose the right texture is important for the spin-response game.
Tennis coating systems are mixed in the work of silica sand specially qualified or dispatched from the factory with proper sand, pre-mixed for consistency. Using silica sand that meets the requirements of size and shape is very important for performance and longevity of the court surface.
