Head Prestige Midplus 2010 YouTek Tennis Racquet Review
Each company has a flagship racquet racket that is synonymous with the brand. Wilson has personnel Pro 6.1 95, is extremely popular Babolat Pure Drive, and Head has the Prestige. Originally introduced in the mid 80's as the Prestige Pro, the Prestige rackets new incarnation has recognized in the hands of large and Goran Ivanisevic, Marat Safin, Gustavo Kuerten, and boys Marin Cilic and Stanislas Wawrinka. Head Prestige line is the Prestige YouTek infused with patented d3o Head and a new class cosmetics. For this test particular play, I got a new Prestige Mid Plus Youtek strung with a Polyblend to 57 pounds.
Whoever has played or give a "Prestige" in the past knows that this racquet is intended for control and more control. Particularly in the context of the number of moderately low stiffness (which is 62 years by our AR), narrow beam, and the dense string pattern (18x20) are geared toward the pinpoint precision, and this racket does not disappoint. From the backcourt, can immediately feel that this racket has superior stability and plow through the earth. My ground strokes were deeper and more pervasive than rackets with less weight, and I did not feel any vibration when you connect with the ball and hit my opponent.
Entering the network is where I really started to enjoy in the sense of the new Prestige. For anyone who has had some high-level cadres Head player in the past (ie, radical, Prestige), there is a tendency the racquet to feel a bit near the top of the death racket. For this reason I sometimes feel like fighting with my network with my current racquet (microgel radical MP). This was not the case with the new Prestige. I felt that all my downloads were crisp and precise, even when I did not well connected in the center sweet spot. This was a great bonus for me because I actually picked up some free points on your network that would not normally.
While I certainly enjoyed the Prestige from the backcourt and on the network, the racket really excels when you start to serve. From the service line, I was able to crack hard flat serves for the "T" and cut some great looking serving on the wings. In other rackets, Sometimes I have to stop to get my check within the box, but I was able to drop with this racquet and much-needed win free points.
From my review might think that this racquet is magical and instantly make you a better player. While I certainly agree with this new version of the "Prestige" Here are some things to consider. First, the racquet is heavy compared to most of their other rackets in the market, and will be the most appropriate strong players and up to 4.0-4.5. If you're not used to playing with a heavy racket that you can really start to feel the weight, especially if you have to go third set. Secondly, this racket gives you the control for days, but that means you should generate most of its power of your swing. Neither more nor less or compact work here, but I need those crazy long lines. If this sounds like the kind of racket, feel free to use the coupon at the end of this newsletter for demo of one week long new prestige!
