Lacoste - History of fashion brand

The history of the Lacoste brand actually has basis in the game of tennis. The brand was founded by Rene Lacoste, one of the legendary French tennis players on the circuit.

In 1927, he and his companions, who were dubbed as the Musketeers won the Cup Davis out of U.S. tennis players for the first time. It was during that tournament when Lacoste made a bet with the legendary captain of his team.
