Do you think there will ever be seperate channels for mens and womens tennis?
I only like watching mens tennis, especially in the early rounds when the women win 6-1, 6-0 in 45 minutes. I drives me absolutely crazy when they go from Djokovic vs Stepanek to see another 1 sided boring womens match. This year there have been a lot of epic 4 and 5 set battles on the mens side and the players in these matches have been working and playing really well, especially in the night matches.
On the other hand, the women's matches are like watching little kids play with things like Screamapova's opponent was running up to the service line to get double faults. Instead of showing Ginepri's 5 set battle they have to show another early round massacre from one of the Williams sisters.
Even though Federer is dominant, there is so much more excitement and depth in mens tennis. I wish they'd show it a little more.
Dont think so but, of course, you have tournaments that are women only or men only. For example the Queens Club Stella Artois tournament (for men) or the Hastings Direct Championships at Eastbourne (for women).
